TKI, one of the leading organizations in the energy sector, aims to recover domestic and national resources with its three operation directorates and seven control directorates for contributing to the national economy and will always serve to carry out activities for the improvement and development of Our Country.
In the Affiliated Operation Directorates:
- Aegean Lignite Directorate (ELI) achieved an overburden stripping amount of 12.41 million m3 and the production of 13.69 million tonnes of run-of-mine coal and 8.55 million tonnes of saleable coal.
- West Lignite Directorate (GLI) performed an overburden stripping amount of 19.46 million m3 and the production of 3.04 million tonnes of run-of-mine coal and 1.45 million tonnes of saleable coal.
- Çan Lignite Directorate (ÇLI) performed an overburden stripping amount of 16.65 million m3 and the production of 2.51 million tonnes of run-of-mine coal and 2.46 million tonnes of saleable coal.
In addition, Control Directorates produced 10.33 million tonnes of coal in total.
In 2020, 7,846,123,840 kWh electricity production in return for 7,464,457.19 tonnes of coal in total was achieved in the royalty coal areas. In this way, the Ministry’s National Energy and Mining policies were supported, contributing to the national economy.
